Where’s the Outrage?
September 27, 2012
In what must be one of the most ludicrous examples of faux outrage, Justice at Stake is ringing the alarm bell over an online ad by Americans for Prosperity Florida that criticizes the judicial activism of that state’s Supreme Court for striking down a proposed ballot initiative to allow voters to opt-out of Obamacare. The main source of concern? The group is supported by the Koch Brothers.
Of course, Justice at Stake itself is the creature of billionaire Wall Street speculator George Soros, who has spent over $45 million to bankroll a campaign to push “merit” selection, which itself is a thinly disguised scheme to put liberal activists on the bench and blackball conservative jurists. The folks at Justice at Stake either have the wryest sense of humor or no sense of irony whatsoever.
