Amendment 5 Will Make Judicial Selection More Transparent in Florida

Florida Representative Charles McBurney has an oped calling for the approval of Amendment 5, a ballot initiative that would require Senate confirmation of state Supreme Court justices. According to Rep. McBurney:
“Senate confirmation, which would be open to the public, would also ensure a more open and transparent process, increasing faith in our system.”
